Direct Thermal Labels
Direct thermal labels are ideal for short life label applications, eliminating the need for a thermal transfer ribbon. Great print quality and barcode readability can still be achieved but shelf life compared to thermal transfer labels is reduced.
Are you currently using a BPA-free direct thermal label material at the moment? From January 2nd, 2020 new legislation means that all packaging labels must be BPA-free. Click here for more information.
Direct thermal labels are widely used within the food industry, as the need for reduced costs and consumable change over time is important. Label material is stocked in economy, semi-coated and top-coated face papers with permanent, removable and deep freeze adhesives as standard.
With a production facility in the Midlands, Labfax is able to manufacture direct thermal labels to our customer’s exact specifications for Cab label printers but also all other thermal transfer printer manufacturers on the market in over 300 cutter sizes. Short, medium, and large runs are offered and labels can be supplied pre-printed in up to 6 colours.
