3M™ Thermal Transfer Label Material 7818 is a matt silver polyester labelstock designed to deliver reliable performance in harsh and demanding environments. The durable polyester face stock provides excellent resistance to abrasion and environmental exposure while maintaining clear, high‑quality print definition. Its silver matt finish offers a professional appearance alongside practical durability for long‑term identification and compliance labelling.

This material is supplied with 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 310E, a firm, high‑strength adhesive engineered to resist edge oozing while ensuring secure bonding to a wide range of substrates. It performs particularly well on high surface energy plastics and metals, as well as many other common industrial surfaces, and offers strong resistance to chemicals and UV exposure for consistent label performance over time.

The TT5 topcoat creates a smooth matt surface that enables excellent thermal transfer print quality at reduced burn temperature settings, helping to achieve sharp images while extending ribbon life. The topcoat also improves ink anchorage for traditional forms of press printing, allowing greater flexibility across different print methods. This label material is UL and cUL recognised, providing added confidence for regulated and safety‑critical applications.
