SQUIX New Industry Specific Covers

The SQUIX label printer continues to dominate the industrial label printer market and since its launch, the development team at Cab have designed industry specific outer cover options.

Food Manufacturing

With the SQUIX IP69K stainless steel chassis cover, it is easy to close and completely seal the label printer unit during the cleaning process to avoid damage.  Furthermore, the label printer can be supplied with a blue plastic cover which if broken can be detected in the production process by metal detection or vision to avoid contamination.  During normal production activity label printer can be moved in and out for ease of use.

Electronics

In manufacturing processes where static build up is an issue the SQUIX Electrostatic discharge cover will covert 1000 volts to 100 volts in less than 2 seconds. It meets ISO 61340-5-1:2016 standards and is unique to the thermal transfer printing industry.

General Manufacturing

In harsh environments, the SQUIX dust cover can be used to prolong printer life and combat dust settling on the unit. A continuous flow of air inside prevents any dust entering and it can be connected to most clean room vacuum systems to ensure all particles are removed.
